The Boy Scouts of America are collecting food for the needy people of the United States of America. Hunger has no political party.
This Saturday begins the annual 2 week Scouting for Food drive. If you receive a door tag, sticker, or notice in your mail please take some time out from hating your neighbor’s political opinion and support your local food bank.
If you see a Scout this weekend in your neighborhood tell him to come back next Saturday the 19th of November (early) to pick up donations from your home.
If you did not receive a notice that your neighborhood is covered, contact me. I’ll pick it up in Louisville, Shelby or Oldham counties.
Please avoid expired items, we can not give these back to the needy.
A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
If more children were taught these traits, there would be less hate and anger in this country.
Yours in scouting
