Borders completes cross-USA trip- deCycles Indiana with a Simpsonville connection

Borders riding across America

Recent Collins graduate Chase Borders is on his fourth cross-country bicycle ride.
Borders is riding with deCycles Indiana, a non-profit ecumenical youth leadership program that offers summer bike trips for teenagers and young adults, on its Southeast America 2014 ride. The trip began in Key West, Fla. on June 21 and will conclude July 13 in Bloomington, Ind. as it passes through seven states – Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana – and covers 1,600 miles.
The group of 60-plus riders will travel through Shelby County from Lexington to Louisville next Saturday, likely in the early afternoon, on U.S. 60.
